On New Year's Eve

As the dawn of another day starts, my mind wonders what difference does it make to my life? Hold On, its 1st Jan, a new year has begun.

So??

Well after the joys and despairs shared by us last year, isn't it time to welcome a new year? Have I ever wondered where we will stand this year? Have I at least given a thought on the upcoming surprises in store in the ever so changing lives of ours?

The answer is "NO, I have not". And why should I and others do it? Right now my mind is just revolving around the pain caused by Global Recession, the fear of War with Pakistan, the Mumbai Tragedy, millions of Job Loss, thousands losing fortunes in Global Market. The list of problems faced by us in 2K8 can go on and on. Why should I ever consider 2K9 to be different?

At this very moment, my Heart says "HOPE is the word you are searching for my dear". A single word can transform my thought process and will make me look the world with a different angle. I do want to follow my heart. I want to wake up and think Positive. Think the World will rise with this dawn to a new year, which has loads of hidden treasure, I and others need to explore.
