Last night I was watching few videos in YouTube from funny man stand up comedian Mr. Jeff Dunham; the beloved Achmed, The Dead Terrorist and Walter.
A little intro about the character in case you want to know...
Achmed is the skeletal corpse of an incompetent sucide bomber. His favourite quote "Silence... I Kill You".
Walter is a retired, grumpy old man with arms always crossed in discontent. He has a brash, negative and often sarcastic view on today's world. His favourite line "don't give a damn".
A must watch videos for those who want to keep their laughter bones in action.
There was a sequence in which Achmed says he is scared of Walter's Fart more than Gasoline which lit him up and he died.
Strangely, I had a weird dream early morning in which I saw myself sitting in my Friend's house.. Ravi and Anu.. my group's newly married couple. Sadly though, they had to leave me alone for sometime. I was smelling gas and when I went to the their kitchen, I could sense that there was a gas leakage. Probably, Anu forgot to close off the gas valve.
To my surprise I saw a spark near the valve. I got scared and tried my best to put that off but to no effect. I started calling my parents. That was another surprise considering how come they were at their place?? Huhhhhh....
Anyways... nothing helped.. and me and my family got exploded in flames. I was so shocked and disturbed... considering it was a morning dream.. I was even more tensed...
In the morning I called up my mom and told her everything.. to my surprise.. my mom said that there indeed was an incident last night somewhere in Delhi where two ladies were burnt alive...
Shock after Shock...
Probably there is no point in writing this blog.. but I just wanted to keep a note of what happened.
Along with that, here are few Do's and Dont's to all those reading my blog in case you come across a Gas Leakage..
Dont's :
1> Do NOT use switches for ventilation. Do not switch on fans, ventilators or lamps. Switches do generate electric sparks and it will act as if you put fire to the gas using a lighter.
2> Do NOT switch-off anything as well. The sparks are even more when a circuit breaks. Leave all electric things in the house as they are.
3> Do not try lighting a match-stick in order to confirm whether it is actually a gas leakage or not
Do's :
1> If you can feel (noise or flow) the gas is still leaking, try closing the valves and see if leakage stopped.
2> If you are not sure. REMOVE all connections from the gas cylinder/canister. The cylinder is safe by itself when nothing is connected to it.
3> Open the doors and windows to let fresh air in.
4> Always keep Fire Department's and Gas Supplier's phone no. so that in case of emergency you dont have to search for it.
